Stay at Madresfield
In addition to Madresfield Court and Gardens, farm and village, The Madresfield Estate is delighted to offer a selection of beautifully appointed three and four bed boutique holiday cottages, that can also be rented together due to their proximity, for larger groups of friends and family, offering 10 beds in total.
Located in the quiet, rural village of Madresfield, at the foot of the Malvern Hills, our cottages provide the perfect escape and opportunity to unwind, relax and reconnect with friends, family, nature and the countryside. Each dwelling is uniquely and sympathetically restored, having its own character and story to tell, thoughtfully conserved for the use of future generations.
Ideally situated for visiting Malvern, the cities and market towns of Worcestershire and the counties of Hereford and Gloucester including the Cotswolds, our aim is to provide homely, warm and welcoming holiday breaks that can be used as a base for exploration or a quiet retreat if good food and local walks in our beautiful landscape is all that is required.
Appropriate for modern day living and socialising, and being equipped with all amenities, our cottages also offer the extra special touches of beautiful decoration, cosy beds with luxurious linens, generous parking, charming views, large private gardens with secure dog fencing, wood burners, barbecues, and wood-fired hot tubs. Well-behaved pets are very welcome!
No.29 Madresfield
"This is a superb property set on the Madresfield estate which gives it a very nice ambience."
The welcome pack included fantastic sausages bacon & eggs from the estate so couldn’t get more local! Logs from the estate also heated the hot tub which was a great bonus. Great for dogs our 2 loved the very secure garden and many local walks where they can be ‘off lead’.
Formerly a worker’s cottage, affectionately known as ‘The Hovel’, No.29 Madresfield, a detached 3-bed cottage (6 guests), was carefully restored and extended in 2021. Featuring parking for three cars, a secure, large, private wrap-around garden, patio, wood-fired hot tub and lockable shed externally, it has a downstairs cloakroom, utility, sociable kitchen-dining room with doors leading to the patio in the back garden, and cosy living room with a wood burner. On the first floor there are three double bedrooms (two of which are twin rooms with beds that can be made up as super kings) and a family bathroom with separate shower.

Beautifully decorated and spotless. It was just like home from home, with everything you could need. The 'Welcome Pack' was amazing with local produce! Would definitely recommend Byways to anyone and next time we are up this way, we will stay here again. 10 out of 10 to the owners!
